The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the University of Camerino have signed a €22 million finance contract with the main goals of supporting the expansion, renovation and modernisation of the university’s campus, bringing it into line with the highest teaching, research and environmental sustainability standards.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) is further bolstering its commitment to back reconstruction and safety work in the central Italian regions hit by the 2016 and 2017 earthquakes, announcing the approval of a new €2 billion financing package.
A €90 million financing agreement was signed today in Livorno by European Investment Bank (EIB) Vice-President Gelsomina Vigliotti and President of Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Tirreno Settentrionale Luciano Guerrieri, in the presence of the President of the Tuscany Region Eugenio Giani, the Mayor of Livorno Luca Salvetti, and Commander of port of Livorno Gaetano Angora. The goal is to support the modernisation and expansion of the Port of Livorno, helping to increase its productivity, safety, and environmental sustainability.
