The Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank (EIB) today approved EUR 9.2 billion of new financing for 34 projects to accelerate urban development, deliver climate action, improve health and education and unlock business investment across Europe and around the world.
The first part of the 2021-2022 EIB Climate Survey explores people’s views on climate change in a rapidly changing world. The results from this release focus on citizens’ perceptions of climate change and the actions they expect their country to take to combat it.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Avant Money will support EUR 75 million of new green investment by homeowners across Ireland. The new initiative will help to cut domestic energy bills and reduce carbon emissions as well as contribute to delivering Ireland’s National Climate Action Plan.
