    Objectives

    Construction and operation of a new cement plant.

    The proposed project will respond to the increasing demand for cement in Algeria. Currently, there is a shortage of building materails such as cement and steel rebars in the country.Economically, the new plant will serve the national income, provide job opportunities and long term economic boost.

    The plant will be in line with international standards. An environmental impact study has been carried out and the usual mitigating measures in the operation of cement plants will be taken into consideration.
