Adrian Kamenitzer, a Romanian national, is Chief Risk Officer and Deputy Director General at the European Investment Bank (EIB). He has held this position since June 2021, before which he was director of Equity, New Products and Special Transactions in the Bank’s Operations Directorate for four years. He has held other positions in the EIB’s Risk Management Directorate, at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (front office and risk management) and with Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) in Romania.
Mr Kamenitzer holds an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Politehnica University of Bucharest and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Romanian-Canadian MBA Programme.
